Hotel Santa Marina Antica Foresteria is a charming gem located just a three-minute stroll from the bustling harbor of Santa Marina. The views from the terraces, particularly during breakfast, are simply breathtaking-overlooking the mesmerizing blue sea and the enchanting islands of Panarea and Lipari. I particularly adored the generous buffet-style breakfast served daily, featuring delicious pastries and fresh fruit against a backdrop of stunning vistas. This ritual became a cherished moment for my traveling companion and me, allowing us to savor not just the culinary delights but also the rich atmosphere of the Aeolian Islands. What truly stands out is the hotel's incredible hospitality; the owner went above and beyond by preparing breakfast bags for us when we had to leave early for a ferry. Such thoughtful touches made us feel like cherished guests rather than mere travelers. In the evenings, the rooftop terrace transforms into a delightful bar, where we enjoyed a relaxing happy hour, soaking in views of the iconic Stromboli.
